Dear Family of Mary!
At Holy Mass today, in the Psalm response we pray: “To You, O Lord, I lift up my eyes.” It is a wonderful prayer. We admit our need for the Lord our God, and in prayer we lift up our eyes…hoping to gaze upon the mercy of God. This inner disposition of humility is a good basis for our relationship with our God.
Our Lady models this humility to us, and speaks to us about it often. In this beautiful message from September 2, 2018, she shares her humility and wisdom with us:
September 2, 2018
“Dear children,
my words are simple
but are filled with motherly love and care.
My children,
all the more the shadows of darkness and deception
are being cast over you,
and I am calling you to the light and truth – I
am calling you to my Son.
Only He can transform despair and suffering
into peace and clarity;
only He can give hope in the deepest pain.
My Son is the life of the world.
The more that you come to know Him –
the more that you come close to Him –
all the more you will love Him,
because my Son is love.
Love changes everything;
it makes most beautiful also
that which, without love, seems insignificant to you.
That is why, anew, I am saying to you
that you must love a lot
if you desire to grow spiritually.
I know, apostles of my love,
that it is not always easy,
but, my children, also the painful paths
are paths which lead to spiritual growth,
to faith, and to my Son.
My children,
pray – think of my Son.
In all the moments of the day,
raise your soul to Him,
and I will gather your prayers
as flowers from the most beautiful garden
and give them as a gift to my Son.
Be true apostles of my love;
spread the love of my Son to everyone.
Be gardens of the most beautiful flowers.
With your prayers help your shepherds
that they may be spiritual fathers
filled with love for all people.

Our Lady often tells us that she knows our sufferings and our pain. She is a mother, and she can intuit what we are suffering, just by watching us! And so she does! She sees our trials and sufferings, our confusion and our pain. And she wants to help us.
But she needs our cooperation. We need to give her all our troubles and fears. Like little ones, we must hand our troubles over to her. She knows how to handle them all!!
She told us so:
February 25, 1999
“Dear children!
Also today I am with you in a special way
contemplating and living the passion of Jesus in my heart.
Little children,
open your hearts
and give me everything that is in them:
joys, sorrows and each, even the smallest pain,
that I may offer them to Jesus;
so that with His immeasurable love,
He may burn and transform your sorrows
into the joy of His resurrection.
That is why,
I now call you in a special way, little children,
for your hearts to open to prayer,
so that through prayer
you may become friends of Jesus.
Thank you for having responded to my call.”
Yes, Mother, we will give you all our our joys, sorrrows, and each, even the smallest pain!! We need your help. And we know that you will give all our difficulties over to Jesus. May all our troubles we transformed into the joy of Jesus’ resurrection!!!

Philadelphia March For Life
Dear Pro-Life Friends:
The Philadelphia March For Life occurs on Saturday, June 22, 2024. This March commences in Center City at 10:30 AM at 18th Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway and proceeds to Independence Mall for an 11:30 AM Rally, which concludes by 12:30 PM. A 9:00 AM Mass at the Cathedral precedes this March. I am attaching the promotional flyer for this March.
Why Participate?
This March provides an opportunity to publicly proclaim the pro-life position near the second anniversary of the June 24, 2022 Dobbs decision, which reversed Roe v. Wade, and grow our area’s pro-life movement.
This March can also positively impact the 2024 Elections. While we urge and rightly expect Republican candidates in 2024 to publicly advocate the pro-life position against their pro-abortion Democrat opponents, pro-life citizens can seize the opportunity of this March to act on our obligation to also make such advocacy.
Promoting Participation
Please personally invite family members, friends and fellow citizens who are already active in pro-life activities in their Parish/Church and/or local community.
Our organization plans to organize and effect personal phone calls to all recipients of this email for whom we have a telephone number.

The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Dear Family of Mary!
Today we celebrate the amazing meeting of Mother Mary and her cousin, Elizabeth. Both women were bearing miraculous children!! Elizabeth conceived after years of barrenness, through God’s promise to her husband, Zechariah! Impossible without a miracle!! And Mother Mary conceived the Son of God by the incredible infilling of the Holy Spirit at the word of the Angel Gabriel! Impossible, amazing, incredible!! But both women learned that all things are possible with God!!
Here is the account of their meeting when Mary traveled in haste to visit Elizabeth at the direction of the Archangel Gabriel. Don’t you just love their prophetic utterances to each other!! Wow!!!:
In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth.
And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb;
and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry,
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy.
And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
And Mary said,
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden.
For behold, henceforth all generations
will call me blessed;
for he who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
And his mercy is on those who fear him
from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with his arm,
he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts,
he has put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree;
he has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent empty away.
He has helped his servant Israel,
in remembrance of his mercy,
as he spoke to our fathers, to Abraham
and to his posterity forever.”
And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her home. (Luke 1:39-56, RSV-CE)
We need to let these miracles sink in to our hearts. We need to believe in miracles in our day as well! God is still actively implementing His plan for our salvation in the world today. Blessed is she who believed!! Blessed are we who believe as well!!

The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Dear Family of Mary!
Today we observe the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ! It is a very important celebration in our Church! Jesus’ Body and Blood, given to us as Heavenly Food, to nourish us on our arduous way to Heaven, is the miracle of all miracles!! Unbelievable!! (Some dioceses have transferred this Solemnity to the following Sunday.)
Here are Our Lord’s very words when He established His bodily presence with us until He would come again:
While they were eating, He took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.” Then He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many. Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Today, in Medjugorje, the parish holds a Corpus Christi Procession, directly after the Evening Mass! The priests and faithful will process with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament throughout the village of Medjugorje! It is always so moving!! Mary TV will stream this event “live”. It will begin at around 7:00 pm Medjugorje time. Please join us for this beautiful procession of love!
Here is a Message from Our Lady given to Mirjana Soldo, in which Our Lady spoke to us about the gift of Her Son’s Body and Blood! Very moving:

“Dear children,
I am calling you to spread the faith in my Son – your faith.
You, my children illuminated by the Holy Spirit,
my apostles, transmit it to others –
to those who do not believe,
who do not know,
who do not want to know –
but for that you must pray a lot
for the gift of love,
because love is the mark of true faith –
and you will be apostles of my love.
Love always, anew,
revives the pain and the joy of the Eucharist,
it revives the pain of the Passion of my Son,
by which He showed you what it means to love immeasurably;
it revives the joy for having left you His Body and Blood
to feed you with Himself –
and in this way, to be one with you.
Looking at you with tenderness,
I feel immeasurable love
which strengthens me in my desire
to bring you to a firm faith.
Firm faith will give you joy and happiness on earth
and in the end the encounter with my Son.
This is His desire.
Therefore, live Him, live love,
live the light that always illuminates you in the Eucharist.
I implore you to pray a lot for your shepherds,
to pray so as to have all the more love for them
because my Son gave them to you
to feed you with His body
and to teach you love.
Therefore, also you are to love them.
But, my children, remember,
love means to endure
and to give, and never, ever to judge.
Thank you.”
