“Dear children! My call for you is prayer. May prayer be a joy for you and a wreath which binds you to God. Little children, trials will come, and you will not be strong, and sin will reign but, if you are mine, you will win, because your refuge will be the Heart of my Son Jesus. Therefore, little children, return to prayer until prayer becomes life for you in the day and the night. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (July 25, 2019)

On Sunday, Our Lady will give us another message. We have become so secure in that reality. She never leaves us. She always comes. And she gives us the message because she is faithful and she knows how much we need her.

I like to look back at the last 25th message to again take time with it. There is a continuity. On July 25, Our Lady spoke to us about the first stone, prayer! She probably speaks the most about prayer. Prayer is foundational to her entire school. When I do a find in my message document, it says that there are more than 1000 times that ‘pray’ or ‘prayer’ is found. I suspect there are many more than 1000.

She never tires of calling us to prayer. “My call for you is prayer.” I would say her fundamental call is prayer. Why? Without prayer we cannot find God. Without prayer we have no connection with God. Prayer is a living relationship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Prayer brings us into the Communion of the Trinity. Prayer binds us to God. And only God can lead us to eternal life. Without prayer we have no future, no hope, no truth, no light.

Our Lady tells us:

“Prayer a wreath which binds you to God….” (7/25/19)

“Therefore, little children, return to prayer until prayer becomes life for you in the day and the night.” (7/25/19)

“Prayer is indispensable to life.” (1/1/84)

“When you pray, you must feel more. Prayer is a conversation with God. To pray means to listen to God. Prayer is useful for you because after prayer everything is clear. Prayer makes one know happiness. Prayer can teach you how to cry. Prayer can teach how to blossom. Prayer is not a joke. Prayer is a dialogue with God.” (10/20/84)

“Dear children! Today I call you to prayer. I am with you and I love you all. I am your Mother and I wish that your hearts be similar to my heart. Little children, without prayer you cannot live and say that you are mine. Prayer is joy. Prayer is what the human heart desires. Therefore, get closer, little children, to my Immaculate Heart and you will discover God.” (11/25/94)

“…pray, pray, pray, because prayer is the foundation of your peace.” (6/25/97)

“Dear children! Today I invite you to respond to my call to prayer. I desire, dear children, that during this time you find a corner for personal prayer. I desire to lead you towards prayer with the heart. Only in this way will you comprehend that your life is empty without prayer. You will discover the meaning of your life when you discover God in prayer. That is why, little children, open the door of your heart and you will comprehend that prayer is joy without which you cannot live. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (7/25/97) 

“Also today I am calling all of you to prayer. You cannot live without prayer, because prayer is a chain which brings you closer to God.” (1/25/16)

“Dear children! Today I am calling you to be people of prayer. Pray until prayer becomes a joy for you and a meeting with the Most High. He will transform your hearts and you will become people of love and peace. Do not forget, little children, that Satan is strong and wants to draw you away from prayer. You, do not forget that prayer is the secret key of meeting with God. That is why I am with you to lead you. Do not give up on prayer. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (8/25/17)

“You must comprehend that your prayer is a conversation of a child with the Father…” (4/2/11)

“Dear children, you must understand that one has to pray. Prayer is no joke; prayer is a conversation with God. In every prayer you must listen to the voice of God. Without prayer one cannot live. Prayer is life.” (Jelena 9/10/84)

May we make a firm commitment in these very decisive times to pray, in the day and night. This is the 1st stone in Our Lady’s hand, the primary stone. It may very well be that stone that David grasped from his bag and placed in his sling. It may have been the stone that mortally wounded Goliath. It is the stone we must pick up first as well. Without this stone, we will be of no use to Our Lady.
