The Baptism of the Lord

Dear Family of Mary!

“…My most beloved Son illuminates lives, dispels darkness; and my motherly love which carries me to you is inexpressible, mysterious but real. I am expressing my feelings to you: love, understanding and motherly benevolence…” (January 2, 2017)

Our Lady tells us that her motherly love is “inexpressible and mysterious but real.” I believe she has been trying to express her powerful and mysterious love since 1981. But have we really grasped it? Do we understand how very much she loves us, how much she yearns for us, how much she desires our safety and salvation? Are we blind to her loving kindnesses? Have we even tried to comprehend her love?

I looked through her messages and counted the times she has said, “I love you.” At least 79 times. But probably much more, in other words and phrases. I would like to take time to just listen to her expressions of love for us, found in the messages from Medjugorje. We need to try to comprehend her love!!!

“Dear children! I have told you already that I have chosen you in a special way, just the way you are. I, the Mother, love you all. And in any moment that is difficult for you, do not be afraid because I love you even then when you are far from me and my Son. Please, do not let my heart weep with tears of blood because of the souls who are lost in sin. Therefore, dear children, pray, pray, pray! Thank you for having responded to my call.” May 24, 1984

“I love you and I want you to comprehend my love and God’s love through prayer.” November 15, 1984

“Dear children! Today I am blessing you and I wish to tell you that I love you and that I urge you to live my messages.” August 15, 1985

“Dear children! I thank you for the love which you are showing me. You know, dear children, that I love you immeasurably and daily I pray the Lord to help you to understand the love which I am showing you. Therefore, you, dear children, pray, pray, pray!” August 21, 1986

“You know that I love you and that out of love I long for you.” November 20, 1986

“I love you, dear children, and so not even counting the number of times, I go on calling you.” June 25, 1987

“You know that I love you and am coming here out of love so I could show you the path to peace and salvation for your souls.” February 25, 1988

“I am with you and I love you with the immeasurable love of Jesus.” November 25, 1991

“I am your Mother and I love you all equally, and I intercede for you before God.” February 25, 1994

“Dear children! Today I invite you to open yourselves to God the Creator, so that He changes you. Little children, you are dear to me. I love you all and I call you to be closer to me and that your love towards my Immaculate Heart be more fervent. I wish to renew you and lead you with my Heart to the Heart of Jesus, which still today suffers for you and calls you to conversion and renewal. Through you, I wish to renew the world. Comprehend, little children, that you are today the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Little children, I invite you and I love you and in a special way implore: Convert!” Thank you for having responded to my call.” October 25, 1996

“Little children, do not forget that I love you with a tender love.” February 25, 2005

“I love you, little children, and accompany you with my intercession before the Most High.” July 25, 2013

“I intercede for you and I love you, little children, with an endless love.” August 25, 2015

“Dear children, I love you with a motherly love and with a motherly patience I wait for your love and unity.” October 02, 2013

“Dear children! I am here, I am among you. I am looking at you, am smiling at you and I love you in the way that only a mother can.” February 02, 2015

“Again I say to you, if you knew how much I love you, you would cry with happiness.” March 18, 2009

Mother, help us to truly understand your love so that we can cry with happiness!
