Romney Debate Bounce: Dead Heat With Obama in Key States
The bounce Mitt Romney received from winning the first presidential debate with President Barack Obama has kicked in and he has pulled even with Obama in two of the most important battleground states, Florida, Ohio and Virginia.
In Virginia, according to a new Rasmussen poll released today, Romney technically leads though the lead is within the margin of error.
Obama Sticks to Pro-Abortion Campaign Themes After Bad Debate
Apparently President Barack Obama and his campaign believe the best way to recover from a poor debate performance against Mitt Romney is to rally the entire campaign behind the issue of abortion.
Not only did Obama tout abortion at a campaign event in Virginia today, but virtually every speaker at the event made abortion promotion the centerpiece of their message as the talked to a less-sizable-than-desired crowd. The Weekly Standard has more on the abortion fest before the smallish audience of about 2,000.
Poll: Majority of Americans Oppose Obama Abortion-HHS Mandate
A new poll shows that, by a 20-percentage point margin, Americans oppose the HHS mandate the Obama administration put in place that requires religious employers to pay for abortion-causing drugs for their employees.
The new poll surveys both voters nationally and in the battleground state of Colorado. In both cases, voters rejected the mandate.
Date Set for Hobby Lobby to Battle Obama HHS Mandate
Later this month, Christian crafting store Hobby Lobby will battle the Obama administration in court over the HHS mandate that would require it to pay for abortion-inducing drugs for its employees.
Last month, the privately held retail chain with more than 500 arts and crafts stores in 41 states filed a lawsuit against the Obama administration over its HHS mandate. The company says it would face $1.3 million in fines on a daily basis starting in January if it fails to comply with the mandate, which requires religious employers to pay for or refer women for abortion-cause drugs that violate their conscience or religious beliefs.
Warning Ladies: Mitt Romney is Coming to Control Your Uterus
Ladies. All the ladies: I want you to sit down. Make sure you have plenty of water and maybe a medical professional nearby. Take deep breaths and try to remain very calm while I tell you this:
Mitt Romney, if elected, will immediately send troops into your home to aim giant guns at your uterus. Your reproductive organs will no longer be under your control, but rather, they belong to the United States and the Republican Party, to be done with as they please. (This will probably involve forcing you to give birth to Evangelical babies who love guns and country music.) While your uterus is placed under armed guard, your birth control pills, IUDs, condoms, and all other lady-plumbing related accessories will be confiscated by bureaucrats (white Christian male bureaucrats) and replaced with Bibles and Kirk Cameron DVDs.
Voice of John: Nurse Tells Story of Baby Born After Failed Abortion
On November 4 of this year, a new pro-life documentary The Voice of John will be released. Produced by River Song Productions, this film will discuss the reality of babies born alive after abortions as well as evidence of atrocities that occur with far too much regularity in the abortion industry. In The Voice of John, the humanity of the unborn will be made real in yet one more way for the world to see, as one small voice will speak for millions.
John is not a make-believe person or a fantasy. He is a real baby, who survived an abortion and was then left to die by medical professionals.
RU 486 Anniversary: 17% of Abortions Involve Dangerous Drug
It was on September 28, 2000, when we got the news. Nearly eight years after it had first been submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), RU-486, the French abortion pill, had been approved.
No one in the U.S. wanted to make the pill there had been lawsuits between the pills promoters, inspections at the Chinese manufacturer had turned up issues, and a woman in the trials had almost died but the FDA, at the behest of the President Clinton, had plowed forward and delivered before the next administration came in to take over.
Pregnant Woman Recovers From Coma, Rejects Abortion
Women frequently reject abortions when confronting a number of difficult medical and health-related issues. Rarely does a woman who is recovering from a coma find herself also pregnant.
False: Abortion is Only 3% of Planned Parenthood s Services
Planned Parenthood describes itself as many things to many people. [i] That is true, in large part, because Planned Parenthood is in reality not what the organization presents itself to be.
Exposing Planned Parenthood on Its 96th Anniversary
On October 16, Planned Parenthood will celebrate its 96th anniversary. To commemorate the birth month of an organization which profits from the death of over 900 unborn children every single day and annually increases its market share in an industry that has taken the lives of over 54 million unborn children since Roe v. Wade each day in October Americans United for Life is releasing a background paper about the nation s largest abortion chain.
Court Cases Make It Harder for Planned Parenthood to Hide Child Rape
Two Ohio court rulings make it more difficult for men to molest young girls and then use Planned Parenthood s abortion services to cover their tracks.
United Nations Recognizes Massive Underpopulation, Does Nothing
A recent major study by the United Nations admitted that ageing is now a worldwide megatrend in both developed and developing nations. Demographic Winter is arriving at breakneck speed. Within ten years, there will be over 1 billion elderly persons on the planet, and this will double to 2 billion by 2050 even as global population numbers start to decline.
Sharon Osbourne and Penny Marshall s Abortions: Regret vs. Indifference
Why do some women who have abortions regret their decisions while others come away from them regretting what they ve done, wishing they could undo the decision and not wanting other women to follow in their footsteps.
Town Grants Right for People to Defend Plants, Not Unborn Babies
Anti-humanism is spreading like a stain, with the environmental movement becoming particularly misanthropic. Case in point: The rise of the nature rights movement that elevates the natural world to moral equality with human beings.
Scientists Reprogram Adult Stem Cells Into Neurons
All of the cells in our body have all the same DNA in the nucleus. So what makes a heart cell a heart cell and a muscle cell a muscle cell? The different cell types in our bodies express different genes which give them their unique characteristics. Scientists are discovering that by introducing certain factors , they can reprogram a cell into a different kind of cel.
