Reason #26 to Defeat Barack Obama:
Anita Dunn on Chairman Mao
When representatives of the President of the United States go out to speak, there are certain things we have a right to expect.
You’d expect that political appointees of the President would say things that reflect American values and the values of the President himself.
In February 2009, Barack Obama appointed Anita Dunn as his communications director. Of all people trained to say exactly what they mean, you would think a communications director would pretty much get it word for word.
That makes what Dunn said at a June 2009 high school commencement address especially troubling. Ms. Dunn, a top official in the executive branch of the world’s greatest democracy, told the young students about what she called “two of my favorite political philosophers.”
They were Mother Teresa . . . and Chairman Mao.
Yeah, that Chairman Mao.
The polar opposite of Mother Teresa.
Despite the gushing sycophants who try to make Mao out to be some eternally smiling, grandfatherly figure, historians know better. Mao Tse-tung is said to be responsible for the deaths of more citizens of his own country than any person in history. Estimates put the death toll resulting from Mao’s policies at between 24 and 80 million people, with a median estimated death toll of 50 million.
That a top spokesperson for the President could find Chairman Mao to be one of her favorite political philosophers so defies belief that you really need to see it for yourself:
For the first time in presenting these 26 Reasons, I’m really beyond words. Maybe because there aren’t words to describe a U.S. government official hailing the killer of 50 million of his own people as a “favorite” philosopher.
Please help us ensure that this deeply anti-life Administration is only a one-term embarrassment to America and doesn’t have four more years to spread its agenda even further. The National Right to Life Victory Fund can help ensure that.
The NRL Victory Fund is a new type of political action committee, one that can accept support from any American citizen or corporation, in unlimited amounts, and use our expertise to get out the pro-life vote on November 6th. In many elections, pro-life voters make the difference, but we need to make sure everyone is informed where the candidates stand and why casting a pro-life vote is so important.
There are just 60 days until one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime. Please consider at this important stage in the election process a donation of $80 to the National Right to Life Victory Fund to help us accelerate our work to defeat pro-abortion Barack Obama, and to elect the pro-life team of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan! Your gift can make a difference . . . for Life!
Please Donate for my wife’s Medical bills. Marianne has ‘End Stage Kidney Failure’. She had a congested heart attack on 3/13/2012, was in ICU for 9 days and now is recuperating at home. You will always be in my daily prayers. God Bless+

Years ago, our parish started a Eucharistic Adoration program, and, like the good signer-upper that I have always been, I promptly agreed to a crazy early morning hour. I had no idea what I would do for an entire hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar, but I was sold on [...]
The Mister and I just had a romantic dinner in the basement, served by two little girls. The main course was Fisher Price peas and pizza, real water from a sturdy, plastic teapot and Cheez-Its. We were entertained by music playing on daddy’s cell phone and the evening ended with a rousing rendition of The [...]

Common Sense Answer: To answer this recurring question, let us consider this:
Psalm 93 [Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition]
1 The Lord is the God to whom revenge belongeth: the God of revenge hath acted freely.
2 Lift up thyself, thou that judgest the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 How long shall sinners, O Lord: how long shall sinners glory?
4 Shall they utter, and speak iniquity: shall all speak who work injustice?
5 Thy people, O Lord, they have brought low: and they have afflicted thy inheritance.
6 They have slain the widow and the stranger: and they have murdered the fatherless.
7 And they have said: The Lord shall not see: neither shall the God of Jacob understand.
8 Understand, ye senseless among the people: and, you fools, be wise at last.
9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that formed the eye, doth he not consider?
10 He that chastiseth nations, shall he not rebuke: he that teacheth man knowledge?
11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of men, that they are vain.
12 Blessed is the man whom thou shalt instruct, O Lord: and shalt teach him out of thy law.
13 That thou mayst give him rest from the evil days: till a pit be dug for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people: neither will he forsake his own inheritance.
15 Until justice be turned into judgment: and they that are near it are all the upright in heart.
16 Who shall rise up for me against the evildoers? or who shall stand with me against the workers of iniquity?
17 Unless the Lord had been my helper, my soul had almost dwelt in hell.
18 If I said: My foot is moved: thy mercy, O Lord, assisted me.
19 According to the multitude of my sorrows in my heart, thy comforts have given joy to my soul.
20 Doth the seat of iniquity stick to thee, who framest labour in commandment?
21 They will hunt after the soul of the just, and will condemn innocent blood.
22 But the Lord is my refuge: and my God the help of my hope.
23 And he will render them their iniquity: and in their malice he will destroy them: the Lord our God will destroy them.
